無線充電產(chǎn)品及感應(yīng)充電產(chǎn)品的FCC要求

短距離無線充電產(chǎn)品的測試規(guī)范

無線能量傳輸設(shè)備使用的頻率大于9 kHz的就是有意發(fā)射產(chǎn)品，按照Part 15 和/或 Part 18的規(guī)范來測試。具體用哪個條款取決于該設(shè)備的工作方式，以及充電器和被充電的產(chǎn)品之間是否有通訊。

如果產(chǎn)品是用于無線能量傳輸，或感應(yīng)充電，需要參考FCC對無線頻率暴露的評估的規(guī)范要求，不僅是part 15, 也包括了Part 18的設(shè)備。責(zé)任方或者供貨商必須提交無線充電產(chǎn)品的申請，F(xiàn)CC則會提供相應(yīng)的規(guī)范要求，提交申請的網(wǎng)址：http://www.fcc.gov/labhelp，在此網(wǎng)頁上點擊：Submitan Inquiryhttps://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/kdb/forms/InquiryForm.cfm

第一次提交的資料包括：

在"Subject"一欄填入: “Seeking guidance for wireless chargers”;

把產(chǎn)品描述填寫完整，包括線圈的直徑，圈數(shù)及電流大小;

產(chǎn)品認(rèn)證所使用的法規(guī)及為何使用該法規(guī);

打算為該設(shè)備做何種認(rèn)可程序（Verification, DOC or Certification）;

技術(shù)圖紙, 技術(shù)說明；

所使用的充電頻率;

發(fā)射功率;

產(chǎn)品工作配置；

人體暴露評估

有意發(fā)射產(chǎn)品如果發(fā)射的是某種信息，則必須用part15做FCC ID，除了某些符合了15.201的特別的產(chǎn)品，可以用verification。無線充電產(chǎn)品可能有兩種不同的工作模式: 充電模式及通訊模式。這樣的話，可能充電模式用Part 18來做， 通訊模式用Part 15做，但前提是（1）設(shè)備不同模式符合相關(guān)法規(guī)要求，（2）充電和通訊兩個模式相互獨立。 Part 18 的民用產(chǎn)品可以申請F(tuán)CC ID或者做DOC, 但前提是要提交人體暴露SAR的評估及符合必要的測試要求。

最后總結(jié)一下，如果充電模式符合Part 15的所有的相關(guān)條款，則FCC允許充電模式用Part 15來代替Part 18。KDB 680106 D01 RF Exposure Wireless Charging Apps v02 對無線充電產(chǎn)品的RF暴露的評估以及FCC的符合性要求提供了指導(dǎo)原則，大家可以參考。

KDB 680106 D01規(guī)定：如果無線充電產(chǎn)品滿足如下所有的要求，則可以豁免人體暴露評估。

a) 充電頻率小于 1 MHz；

b) 每個初級線圈的輸出功率都小于 5 watts；

c) 能量傳遞僅包括初級和次級線圈，有的充電系統(tǒng)包含多個初級線圈，可以檢測到多個被充電產(chǎn)品，能量的耦合僅在配對好的初級和次級線圈之間；

d) 被充電產(chǎn)品可以與能量發(fā)射產(chǎn)品保持一定距離，或者直接接觸到，都可以；

e) 最大的充電產(chǎn)品的耦合表面積在 60 cm2 and400 cm2；

f) 如果有多個線圈同時發(fā)射能量，在設(shè)備周圍10cm的范圍內(nèi)，泄漏的場強不能超過人體暴露（MPE）限值的30%。

Question: What rules regulate short distance wireless inductive coupled charging pads or charging devices?

Answer:

Wireless power transfer devices operating at frequencies above 9 kHz are intentional radiators and are subject to either Part 15 and/or Part 18 of the FCC rules. The specific applicable rule part depends on how the device operates, and if there is communication between the charger and device being charged.

Devices specifically intended for use for wireless power transfer, or inductive charging, require FCC guidance for frequency exposure review. This includes Part 18 devices. The responsible party or manufacturer must seek guidance from the FCC by submitting a wireless charging application inquiry at http://www.fcc.gov/labhelp.

The initial inquiry shall include the following:

In the "Subject" line, fill the field as follows:

complete product description, including coil diameters , number of turns and current;

the rule part(s) the device will operate in and the reasoning for rule part(s);

planned equipment authorization procedure;

drawings, illustrations;

frequencies;

operating configurations conditions for human exposure [1], and

Intentional radiators transmitting information must be certified under the appropriate Part 15 rules and will generally require an equipment certification, except for special types of devices meeting requirements under Section 15.201 which are subject to verification. A charger may operate in two different modes: charging and communications. It is possible for the device to be approved under Part 18 for the charging mode and Part 15 for the communications mode, if it can be shown that (1) the device complies with the relevant rule parts and (2) the functions are independent. Part 18 consumer devices can be either certified or approved under DoC, only after the required SAR guidance has been given (as noted above ". . . by submitting an inquiry at http://www.fcc.gov/labhelp" . . ) and the necessary test requirements have been completed.

Finally, it is possible that the power charging function could be approved under Part 15 rather than Part 18 if the device meets all of the requirements of the appropriate Part 15 rule.
